The Catechesis & Evangelization Commission focuses on religious education for all ages, preparation for sacraments, K-8 education, vocations, & outreach.

St Mary Hyde Park Vision Statement for Faith Formation 

St Mary Parish views faith formation as a lifelong journey through which we grow in our love and knowledge of God and in our understanding of ourselves as disciples of Christ.  We seek to lead children, adolescents and adults into ever-maturing faith, thereby forming a faith community energized and empowered to live and spread the Gospel message.

St Mary Catechesis and Evangelization Commission meets 7 times per year.  Qualifications desired: an interest in faith formation and educational opportunities for the parish. Thank you to our current commission for your willingness to be involved in planning/supporting activities in family catechesis, adult faith opportunities, and religious education for all children who are parishioners of St. Mary Parish.
